Today is officially my first day home schooling. We started later than I anticipated (around 9:30) but went in order of our schedule for the most part. For exercise, we did freeze dance with glowsticks (It was M's idea to do it in a dark room with glow sticks since apparently he did it in camp last Summer). I was surprisingly fun and we moved our bodies - which is always good.
At 11am, while A was on his class teleconference, M and B watched Magic Avi's Magic Show on Facebook Live, which they really enjoyed and it gave me time to clean up a little and put away laundry.
Then, I took all three kids to work so I could sign some notes in the EMR that I apparently forgot to sign yesterday. Very annoying. Then, we waited in traffic for close to 30 minutes to pick up lunches from Bnos Yisroel (the city has arranged free lunches for all children). The good part was the free lunches (hot dogs, baked beans, and fruit). The annoying part was the waiting and kvetching (B). The older kids enjoyed listening to an audiobook while we waited in the car.
In the afternoon, we did more school work, cleaned a little for Pesach, rode bikes outside, and had screen time (Minecraft) and, later, movie night (Monsters Inc.). I think it was M's first time watching a full length film and he thought it was a little scary but overall we enjoyed it.
Best Part: The magic show and nice weather.
Hardest Part: I had a headache on and off all morning which was really hard.
